    Wots the best pigeon,s for a new starter like me, which will be the best strain of pigeons,and also is it best to keep 1 strain or a few.

    First question, Are you interested in Sprint/Middle distance or Middle/Long distance. That established, there are many good strains of pigeons about, but ideally check out your local top fanciers and see what strains they are flying into your area. That's the best advice I can give you because every fancier has their own personal favourite strains. Regarding how many strains you should keep, personally I don't think it matters as there have been many good crosses that have beaten all before them, and regularly

    ummmmmm difficult for new starter but if i was starting again i would get the most breeds i could and cross them all to make the ones i want for job i want
