hi rene, all season ive experrimented with the yb feed as i thought it was why they wouldnt fly for very long around the loft........first i fed them yb mix with no maize, then i changed this and fed 1/3rd yb no maize, 1/3rd widowood and 1/3rd barley, after exercise i fed 1/3rd of the daily amount and then the rest later that evening but all this mixing and chopping and changing made no difference........couple of weeks ago i threw the lot away and bought the vanroebys best all round corn and now im happy with it, all season ive been experrimenting and in the end ive realised the reason why they werent flying is most likely because they are mostly all paired up.

cant say for definate but i think some of my problems have come about because they were on the darkness system...........this is the first time ive done it since i restarted two years ago and for the first two yb season had them natural, never had any problems either with illness, trapping or flying.
