how do you use Honey for when a pigeon comes back from a hard race ? do you mix in to the water of put on to food ?

Honey is a fantastic natural antiseptic i mix it in the water, try the extract from honey propoilis

Rene i make it the night before two big teaspoons in warm water not hot, if you make it with piping hot water to take away all the goodness, so the water only needs to be warm enough to desolve the Honey. Rene you can also add a touch of lemon juice to it as well

yes, give it a try rene, ive heard a lot of fanciers give it for when they come home from racing.........think i will be using it when the yb season starts or maybe electrolytes, i havnt decided yet but they do need something to help them recover when they get home,p.s. some use glucose so ive heard.....?

hi rene, i have some lefebre dhaenens, hofkins janssens, soontjens x melderts and others which are janssens based......oh, and a gaby vanda******** whatever it is, dont know how to spell it,
ive got these from good fanciers who have done well with them but i havnt raced them yet as im only starting with ybs this season, will let you know how they do.
