PIGEONS have been freed from a Harrogate restaurant.
The 10 birds became trapped in netting at the Jinnah on Cheltenham Parade over the weekend.
They were liberated by RSPCA officers on Tuesday after a report from a member of the public.
A spokesman for the charity said: "The birds were trapped in roof space. Happily they were released unhurt.
"Where netting is installed as a deterrent for birds it is important to ensure they can't get trapped in it, as this can cause unnecessary suffering
